Tadmore:  a community of inspired learners who are empowered, confident, and ethical; contributing to the good of all.

Tadmore Elementary School, located in Gainesville, Georgia, was established in 1925 by consolidating four one-room schools into one four-room wood frame building.  The current brick facility houses kindergarten through fifth grade – 509 students, 2 administrators, 43 certified teachers, 10 paraprofessionals, an office staff, and a fully-operational cafeteria.  Two state-funded Pre-K classes, serving a total of 40 students, are also on the campus.   Tadmore Elementary is one of 21 elementary schools in Hall County School System.

Tadmore Elementary has a diverse population.  With a total population of 509 –students, 51% is male and 49% female, 76% is Hispanic, 18% is White/non-Hispanic, 3% is Black/Non-Hispanic, 2% is multi-racial, and 1% is other.   Approximately ten percent of the student population received special education services, 49% received services through ESOL, and 12% is served in the Early Intervention Program.   Approximately ninety-four percent of the student population qualifies for free or reduced lunch.

Tadmore Elementary has made AYP five of the last six years.  For the 2009 school year, Tadmore received the Superintendent’s Distinguished Achievement Award for improvement in 2nd grade math.  For school years 2009, 2010 and 2011 Tadmore received the Governor’s Award for Distinguished Title 1 School.
