Punctuation
What punctuation mark do you put at the end of a telling sentence? A period. What punctuation mark do you put at the end of a sentence that asks us something? A question mark. This video explains when to use a period and a question mark and why. You also learn some things about Abraham Lincoln and practice using a period and a question mark after watching the video. A good writer always thinks about his or her reader. When you use the end marks, you help the reader understand what you’re trying to say. Try writing some asking and telling sentences and have a friend read them.
